HYANNIS (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 5-year-old boy faces possible suspension, after building a gun out of legos, during his after school program.

Joseph Cardosa is part of the after school program at Hyannis West Elementary School, on Cape Cod. His parents received a letter a few days ago that said Joseph has received his first written warning for using toys inappropriately, and that upon a second written warning, he will be suspended from the program for two weeks.

The real reason behind "Zero Tolerance" to to prevents schools from being sued if a student who "showed signs" wasn't dealt with properly. It was for the schools to save their own asses, not to save students.

These fucking idiots took the ball and ran! These days, the first lesson that kids are learning is that adults are fucking retards. Now if a kid acts like a kid, there's somebody there to drug them or suspend them. What a fucking joke.
