I watched the first episode and wasn't exactly thrilled. After reading this post, however, I think I'll give the second one a try.

I'm still bummed that Boss was cancelled...was my favorite show, so maybe my taste is questionable since I never found any other fans.

Just watched the movie Loopers. If you enjoy SciFi and time travelers, you may enjoy it greatly!

Not to rehash, but I think they overloaded Show One with too many subplots and backstories as if they had to keep a lion at bay. I mean so much was going on...they could have had him plotting to get out of jail for an episode or two, while you begin to get a sense of how evil and fucked up the whole thing is.

Boss was the fucking shit!!! I loved that show, it was so fucking awesome and Starz cancelled it!!! I was so upset!! My husband got my hopes up because he heard that they were going to do a few final shows to finish up the story arc, but it doesn't sound like they are going to do that. In good news, however, AMC has uncancelled The Killing. Yay!!

I watched Loopers and while I am not a sci-fi fan, I did enjoy it. However, I felt like the CGI morphing of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's face so that he looked like a young Bruce Willis was a mistake. It was distracting.

That is the curse of the first show of any series: they try to crowbar too much into the first episode.

Very, very good episode tonight, by far the strongest. Teaching that kid to kill was extraordinary for network tv. high praise from this viewer.

Watching, but the weakness of a show like this is that the villain has to be almost unstoppable and larger than life, yet he's just a sap who got caught, arrested, and his wife cheated on him.
