Are you aware that I patiently warned TomTom to drop it throughout the day in an effort to end the entire situation? I did not want anyone banned or crossbarred or pissed off. I tried to appease all parties.

I explained VERY clearly that TomTom was 100% wrong. I explained to him he had already broken our rules on posting personal info and he should drop the subject and stop posting in that thread.

His response was to threaten to send an email to the owner of the blog site.

Even after all of his smart ass and trolling responses I did not send him here. It wasn't until he started up AGAIN last night and proves he was incapable of seeing the error he made.

So seriously, where do you feel I went on a "power trip"? When I continued to try and keep him as a member of the board? When I tried to explain to him how his "investigation" was wrong and he could have been banned for posting the links? Or when he finally was ignorant enough and asshole enough to keep it going after being given so many chances?

Well...if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it's one thing for Dainty to have made a mistake and someone made a connection between her post and her personal website, but I didn't go past the page which was linked to from here. IOW, I didn't dig further.

If tomtom posted the information he found after digging further, now I [b]will[/b] see information about her that I normally wouldn't have gone out of my way to find.

In effect, while she may have inadvertently posted something that [i]could[/i] be linked back to her, tomtom's posting of her information on this site violates the rules. She never posted her twitter account or any other info other than the photos.

Besides, it's not like she attacked this site. There was no need to do a full, journalistic investigation of her.

I agree you should be able to post breadcrumbs to your personal info here and not worry about assholes following those breadcrumbs and posting the info here. It's common human decency which is probably too much to expect around here.

What you and a few others don't realize is I wasn't giving out dainty's personal info. I was posting that the pictures weren't hers, that she plagurized (I know it's a big word for you lemmy but google it). Now it's being said that she was posing as the man who posted them on the other site. I know strange. So let's say for the sake of argument that's true. That dainty really is a girl and poses as a man on the other site. Guess what. I never gave any personal info out. What it means is I gave a characters name, a moniker if you will, that she pretends to be on another site.

With that the other site in no way links to who she really is in real life.

If the other site was her not only does it not tell us anything about her but on this site she has posted pictures of herself thereby telling us stuff about her real persona and me saying that a person, who people are saying is her cat's name, posted the pictures first, well it wasn't giving personal info out. I didn't give personal info you clueless dipshit and I never threatened to email "her". I said if the site that first had them were to be emailed would they say they gave her permission to post the pictures since it was explicit in saying the pictures were not to be posted anywhere including websites, message boards and Facebook.

As for caster fly claiming you're on a powertrip. I understand your thread where you had anxiety about your high school reunion. I imagine high school must have been hell for you, couple that with you constantly saying you hate your wife and how much of a bitch she is I imagine being a mod is quite the achievement in your life.

And BTW.....I never argued that I knew the DUI laws in an area outside of what I am responsible for. You were too dense to understand what my point was about supplying evidence against yourself. It had nothing to do with penalties or what was in the best interest of the OP. You get so wrapped up on having to be right and defend your position that you can't see anything else. I explained to you that you were WRONG. She was in fact the owner of those photos. The blog was indeed hers.

To email the blog would be to email Dainty.
