    How do it work? Magic?

    So I bought a heat powered stove fan to circulate some warm air when we have a fire going. I have no idea how the fucker works......the stove gets hot and it starts blowing. WTF?!?! I saw an Amish person with one so I figure they are powered by Satan.

    Pretty cool and moves more air than I thought it would.

    There's some sort of motor.....I'm sure I can look it up on Wikipedia but I choose to believe its the Devil's doing.

    nope. it has a thermocouple inside it. when you put electricity through it, one side of it gets cold and the other gets hot. when you heat a thermocoupler it makes electricity. probably enough to spin a little electric motor.

    I got it through Sears online (I had a gift card) but I think it was actually from Northern Tool. Just do a search for "Ecofan" and you'll find some vendors I'm sure.
