Buy some brown rice and cook up a pot. Brown Rice is like cheap as fuck.
Buy some broccoli and chop it up. Broccoli is is around 3 bucks for 3 stalks. You can prob get it cheaper if you shop around.
Chop up a boneless skinless chicken breast. 1 boneless skinless chicken breast is about a buck 50 if you get it on sale.
Stir fry the broccoli with olive oil till it starts to brown. Add a little water and cover to let it blanch til the water evaporates like 2 or 3 minutes. (perfect chinese style broccoli every time.)
Remove the broccoli and set aside.
Fry up the cut up chicken until the juices run clear.
Add some of this to the chicken. Mix to coat. This is the most expensive part of the meal. A jar cost around 4 bucks. You can use it sparingly though.
Then add the cooked broccoli. Mix to coat.
Serve over the brown rice.
Add some of this for extra flavor. Soy sauce lasts for ever. Kikkoman is the best.
Each batch you make is easily 2 meals so that makes a little over 3 dollars a meal. If you make a lot of rice you can feed a family of 4 for 5 bucks.
