The Power of the Stern Show really storms the Box Office this weekend

This weekend box office showed yet again that Howard is still king. He promo the hell out of Movie 43 last week on his show and despite lowered expectations, the movie opened in 7th place reeling in an impressive $5 million for the weekend.

Even if you factor out the people who went to see Hansel and Gretel only to have it sell out and then be forced to go see Movie 43, this shows that Howard's audience comes out in the dozens to support whatever movie Howard promotes.

Nothing could have helped that movie. President Obama could have given every American the day off to go see it and it still would have flopped. It's got some of the worst buzz I've ever heard. Hell, all these celebrities couldn't save it:

    Elizabeth Banks
    Kristen Bell
    Halle Berry
    Leslie Bibb
    Kate Bosworth
    Gerard Butler
    Josh Duhamel
    Anna Faris
    Richard Gere
    Terrence Howard
    Hugh Jackman
    Johnny Knoxville
    Justin Long
    Christopher Mintz-Plasse
    Chloë Grace Moretz
    Liev Schreiber
    Seann William Scott
    Emma Stone
    Jason Sudeikis
    Uma Thurman
    Naomi Watts
    Kate Winslet

Literally one of the worst reviewed movies I've ever seen. I have a screener on my desk in front of me and I'll probably not watch it. I'm tempted to just upload it to the piratebay and mix farting and shitting noises throughout the dialog like that great South Park gag. I'm going to instead watch the South Park movie and then Blazing Saddles later tonight.

Yeah, but didn't Howard proclaim a few weeks ago that if stars came on his show that their movies would open big and that stars that were in movies that looked to be bombs before they come out should come on his show so they can open big.

$4 million. Another box office success for friend of the show Mark Walhberg. I guess the lack of an animated teddy bear didn't help the movie.

Whoa that's nothing. Catherine Zeta Jones & the main dude from Gladiator also star in the movie so I thought it would do much better.

When I saw Django they showed a trailer for movie 43. Trailer was kind of outrageous and crazy and couldn't really tell what, if anything, it was about. The main selling points were, a girl who likes to shit on guys (or be shit on...can't remember), and a locker room basketball scene where a guy is yelling about how they are going to win because they are black and the guys they are playing are white.

Very cool movie. Maybe a little long was the only complaint I'd have. Had some good acting and a very unique and violent spin that only Tarantino could bring to a movie like that. Was worth the cash to see it.

Howard's influence used to be an unstoppable river... It was the mighty Mississippi...

Today, it's an old guy taking a piss... A weak, intermittent piss stream that lands on some sheep's head.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.
