whoa whoa whoa, stop the clock. When you say no brakes you mean no brakes at all??? My old huffy didn't have hand brakes but if you pedaled backwards it would lock up the rear tire. No brakes at all just seems really, really dumb.

yeah, like no brakes. not even the "push the pedals backward" brakes. on fixies, if you push backward on the pedals, you are pedaling the bike in reverse and moving backward. to stop you have to skid or skip-stop.

I thought it was a really fun movie and enjoyed it. I don't know much about bikes so I can't comment on the whole "fixie" issue. My biggest problem was that the nigger was driving around in a BMW, how does he afford that delivering packages for $10 a shot in NYC?
