A VCR... wow.. I remember when my mother brought the first one home back in the late 70s.. it was a JVC.. My dad lost his shit when he found out how much it cost.

Now I don't even have a DVR or Tivo or even a DVD player.. not even cable TV. Haven't needed cable for about 3 years now. Between the endless supply of TV shows and movies I can stream to my TV off the net, or my hard drive with around 400 movies on it... well just don't need a cable TV bill anymore. And I like it that way!
