Generally I don't mind their hacks, especially when they sent out personal info and CC numbers of Westborough Baptist Church, but the Sony takedown and compromising CC's of the Playstation Network users so that I couldn't get online with my PS3 for a month or whatever, and had to cancel my credit card pissed me off. I didn't see the point of that.

For the most part, I'm DAMN glad they're out there, as long as they don't get pissed at me for something! I do worry that due to the nature of their efforts, it would be really easy for some assholes to do Anti-Anonymous sabotages to try to make them look like the villians....

Yeah, I don't agree with publishing credit card numbers. If you want to expose politicians or other public figures' online activity, that's one thing, but exposing the private, personal info of private citizens?

like what they do? sure. I approve of activist hacking: embarrassing the established administration has a long and illustrious history both in the US and in the UK. any government that refuses to, or cannot withstand internal intellectual challenges doesn't deserve to be in office.
