The UFC was much better back in the day, when there were only 2 rules...

No eye gouging, and no biting! Everything else goes!

Those were the days, I loved the fighting back then, but the fact that in order to win you had to fight some 3 fights in the same night made a little unfair advantage for anyone who was injured when a sub had to come in and fight.

I think that Pride or K1 were better fighting in the early days compared to UFC. Well maybe not K1?

So was Kazushi Sakuraba. Pride put on some really epic matches in their heyday.

You know what I'm talking about.

I will never forget UFC 2 or 3, where this big dude elbow pounded the FUCK out of some guys head like 10 times, even after the guy was knocked out, can't find it anywhere on the internets.

Absolutely. We would go to the fights when they were anywhere in the tri state region. The fighters were some of the most gracious athletes ever, so kind. I remember shaking the hand of Pedro Rizzo and talking to him after he got beat up pretty good at the Mohegan Sun.

That is an asian thing, most of those folks smoke, it calmed them and helped focus.

"No knees or elbows to a downed opponent".

Now the faggots drop to a knee anytime they are being hit as a strategy.
