What is your current eating plan look like? :wop:

I am on an intermittent fasting type schedule:

    - My basic premise is I gain muscle in the gym and I lose fat through my diet. Not the other way around.

    - I eat my first meal post workout at around 4 pm and another
    meal between 9-10 pm.

    - I don't think it's essential to make sure you have a meal post workout,
it just usually works out that way.

    - If I don't workout at all, I will do a 24 hr fast.

    - I am never starving, only mildly hungry at times. I don't have any cravings.

    - If I am trying to lose weight, I will create a calorie deficit, not do more cardio.

    - As a personal choice, I do not eat dairy because I don't digest it well

    - I do not consume protein supplements anymore. Prefer to eat real food.

    - I generally go low carb when I am on my spring/summer cut

    - I have tried everything from eating 6-8 meals a day to Paleo to keto plans. The above works for me the best. Try it yourself because n=1 is always the best method.

    - I don't want to debate any keyboard jockeys. I have researched and tried everything and most will work for a time. If you have a question, I will be happy to answer it though.

Yep....it's pretty easy. Sometimes I won't eat until even later for a full 24 hr fast

    - After the 16-18 hour fasting mark, you are at your highest degree of fat burning

    - Just because you have leftovers, you don't HAVE to eat it. Throw it away. It's the
    cost of being lean.

isn't that too late in the evening to eat? yes your metabolism is reved from the evening workout, but after 10pm whatever you ate is going to go to glycogen since you will be pretty much inactive for the following 10 hours. i would expect your abdomen to get bigger from that, harder from the exercise, but bigger from the layers of glycogen your liver will lay down from the late night foods.
ok, who writes "goo goo at a at a, fukin jew heeb"?
"fuckyoubigot i dont like you're sig" "repeated annoying comments"

Short term fasting is better for fat burning than meal timing.

During short-term fasting free fatty acids start to be released from your body fat assoon as you are done burning the calories that you consumed during your last meal.Depending on the size of the meal, this can happen anywhere from 2-6 hours into afast. After this point, the amount of free fatty acids entering your blood continue toincrease as does the amount of body fat being oxidized for energy. By about the 12-14hour mark you begin to burn predominantly body fat as your main fuel source.

    - What makes you fat is overeating.

    - If you do not lift weights, you will not have muscle....unless you are a genetic freak

    - Most professional athletes are taking anabolic steroids and HGH. They just know how to
beat the tests. Same with models and actors (who do not get tested) This is 100% verified.
So...don't use them as examples or try to model their programs.

I know...sounds like a no brainer, right? Yet you have people
on treadmills for an hour because they can control their calorie
intake. They try to lose fat through "cardio" which is so inefficient.

When you say fasting, you mean zero intake? I'm googling this stuff right now and some sites that come up talk about consuming 500-600 calories, which doesn't seem like real fasting to me...

I've cut back on eating so much lately that this seems like an easy and fun thing to try.

How many days a week do you average?

Also, do you feel fasting has a positive effect on your digestion? Or is that some new-age bs?

I'd appreciate your comments as I'm terrible at researching health stuff; I never know which sources to trust, and I end up believing random shit from sites written in Comic Sans.

fasting = zero intake of food or calories

I do it for 16-18 straight hours, then I eat 2 meals in that 6-8 hr window, rinse repeat

I do one 24 hour fast per week usually

    go to leangains.com

I don't have time to explain all the bennies of intermittent fasting but I have gotten great results
from this eating lifestyle. If it's not for you, then so be it. good luck

Been back on high protein lately, 1 gram per pound of lean body mass, and it's been yielding good results.

    FWIW
