He's jealous whether he admits it or not.
Howard could no more interview stars of this caliber than he could sit taped to a chair the whole show with a gag in his mouth.

I'm not a Kimmel fan, but I have to give him credit...that was a fantastic idea. It's clear that Kimmel's hungry and isn't content with being number 3. Unless you just want a late night talk show to gently rock you to sleep, I can't imagine tuning into Letterman or Leno instead of this.

Wow, that was a really impressive stunt. His face has always annoyed me but I'm impressed with the amount of effort and preparation it took to pull this off. Hopefully he'll get a nice ratings bump over the next few weeks.

Howard is definitely will be jealous of this. Of course he'll say, I'm happy for Jimmy that he got such a great show together but inside he knows Jimmy used to idolize Howard and now he surpasses him (light years) in terms of funny and clever and talent.

10 years ago Saturday.

And it took until October 30, 2012 for Howard to visit Kimmel's show in person ....

(...after 2 previous "by satellite" appearances by Howard, after Kimmel promoted Howard by having Beth on as a guest several times, and Robin on, and Gary on, and Artie on several times, and Eric the Midget in the front row...)
