Never liked soap operas except for Passions (on NBC, I think). It seemed serious at first glance but it was really a parody of soap operas with ridiculous plot twists and over-the-top characters. One story line was a parody of Psycho with a woman named Norma Bates as the killer. There were also characters who were men pretending to be women, women disguised as men, and people who you thought were heterosexual that turned out to be gay. Pretty entertaining, you never knew what was coming next.

I watch it..............no way Midge ever gets on the show...the show's about GLAMOROUS people of which Midge isn't..............he's freaky looking.............

My former GF got me hooked on All my children and One life to live back in 1986 . Watched them daily until about 2000. Lots of fun , mindless entertainment and hot looking women .

The reason B&B wants Midge is because 2 of it's stars who've been on the show since it started, RIDGE & STEPHANIE, up and quit on the show cause the story lines are so boring.


It focuses on people NO ONE cares about. IE: PIG-SNOUT, PUMPKIN-HEAD, RAT-FACE, MOON-FACE, MAMMIE DA MOMBO-LIPS, THE WHORE FROM THE VALLEY, DADDY DUMMY,(watch the show & you'll easily ID who I mean)

It's a very CHRISTIAN show where the story lines always have morals.........

My guess is Midge never steps foot..............errrrrrrrrrr.............rolls onto that studio lot...............

I will say that Days of Our Lives is worth watching because they cast a lot of Twin Peaks actors. Ian Buchanan is still a series regular.
