I'm guessing I'd have to pay for 7...and T@H could absolutely walk me through it. Yes - they HAVE to help me, 'cause I just dropped $44 on a "quick fix", and agreed to a contract of $10/month for constant tech service.
That being said....if I can't make the bitch acknowledge the internet, neither Rogers nor T@H can do shit for me. I've installed the program, it recognizes the internet - but it will not recognize any browser. So I cannot access the internet, for either of those technically skilled options to assist me.
Times like this, it's good that I don't have guns.
Is the only problem you're having getting online or establishing a connection? Are you using a cable modem or dsl? Do you have a wireless router hooked up? Have you tried calling your ISP and have them walk you through it? (Is Rogers your ISP?) You have to make sure you establish an internet connection first before you hook up a router, etc. Here's a good website to help if you can get online from another computer. http://www.blackviper.com/service-co...onfigurations/
