Not really sure who would be motivated to go to the block party, seems like a huge waste of money to me.

That being said, why would Stern need to shut it down? I would think he'd be thought of an asshole if he did ask Mund to shut it down.

In the past Stuttering John, Gary and the like have done outside projects to make money. If people are dumb enough to pay, who is Howard to stop them?

I got a call earlier this week from my host over at Harrah's telling me had tix for me, asking if I was interested in coming up this weekend.

I told him he's out of his fucking mind and to NEVER bug me again with such garbage. I didn't get to hear his response as I immediately hung up on him.

that's what i've been trying to figure out. there's nothing funny about it, just an old man screeching to a bunch of brain-dead idiots who got scammed out of money to watch some of the most uninteresting, dull people who have ever been associated with the HSS.

Howard would never shut down the Block Party because it benefits him in several ways, especially financially. The guys are creating content for the radio show and HowardTV on their own time while being paid by someone else, it's the perfect situation for him. It's also free advertising and publicity for the show and HTV and Howard LOVES it despite what he says.
