    Paul Ryan ripped apart

    for claiming President Barack Obama had singled him out with a strawman argument during his inaugural address.

    The President said that safety net programs like Social Security and Medicare “do not make us a nation of takers,” chiding Ryan without naming him. But Ryan protested that Obama was misconstruing his political philosophy. Ryan said he never claimed benefiting from “earned entitlements” made someone a “taker.”
