Have there been any AM ad's lately? I tune em out when they come on so I dunno. I can't recall hearing any lately though. If they pulled their ads, I E Malone will not allow those types of products to advertise on his product, then Howard would be pissed at Malone since Howard pockets most of the advert $$'s on his channels. IF AM pulled the plug though Howard would denigrate them to stop any further thought that he is behind them still.

I seriously doubt Howard has any fear of John Malone. If Malone fires Howard he still gets paid and will take his "hundreds of listeners" and do something else. If Howard stays he still gets paid and he wins. He will be miserable yes, but will do nothing to improve his already lame show.
