Any of the above is OK, because Artie wouldn't throw CD's at anyone he thinks might actually do something about it. He did what he did because Teddy is a big pussy and he knew people would jump in and stop it. Artie's attempt to get at Teddy was half hearted and obviously not something he was dead set on getting done.
