I would give anything for Artie to be in the Bad Santa 2 movie they are making. I always thought he could have done that role better than Billy Bob Thornton.

bad santa is an xmas classic.

Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, I would just like to see Artie play a character like that. I remember him talking about how he pitched a dark comedy in the 90's where he was Santa's son who was an alcoholic and drug addict that ruined Christmas and knocked up an elf (who was played by a midget).

I think artie would do a good job in a bad santa sequel for sure, but IMO bill bob IS bad santa he nailed that role. He did such a good job that it makes you think he had to of had a phase in his life where he might of been close to that bad. If not then he did some damn good acting in that movie.

I'm a big Billy Bob fan, and that character is pretty similar to him in the 90's; I can't remember how many times he's been married, but it's a lot, and his kids supposedly hate him. He has gotten clean (although he still smokes and drinks) since his drug addicted days, though. I just wish he had kept writing and directing; Pushing Tin, A Simple Plan and Sling Blade were all great. This actually makes me want to watch Hearts Afire again.
