less content ... less to complain about = more value for subscribers? Huh?
I wonder what the actual cost is to operate 101. That is, would they save that much money by shuttering it?
Tim Sabian's salary. H101 doesn't need to exist, so Tim doesn't. It brings nothing. The H101 novelty factor wore off within about a week after they first got to Sirius when people realized it was another one of the big empty promises of the "exciting move to satellite".
Saving cost on Tim's salary + freeing up a channel of bandwidth on the sat, seem like a win-win.
I'll agree on BOR -- was good the first few episodes before Jason was given the do-not-talk-about list. You know back when he was still leaking gems like Robin doing the show from her bed. OTOH, whenever I hear John Hein casually mention "John Hein's TV show" in the third person like no big fucking deal -- thats pretty much the pinnacle of everything thats wrong with H101.

There's really no reason why they can't air everything on 100. Howard only works 3 days. His show blows, playing it, over and over over and over for 4 days. really isn't necessary.
I agree their is not enough original content for 2 channels.
I believe the 2nd channel is in Howard's contract though.
My comments are based on my opinion only.
That's interesting. Maybe that's why Howard is having all these meetings. That is, if Howard contractually is bound to a second channel it is possible that Malone & Co. might be pressuring Howard to provide better content for 101. They're trying to hold him to his contract.

This, as well as having it to air the West Coast feed. The production costs have to be minimal for the horrid shows they have, now that Bubba and Ferrall are gone. Good thing Howard never tried to fill a third channel - when he filed his agreement in the lawsuit, it mentioned that this was intended to be a premium channel with an additional fee.
I would rather hear Stern Show Shuffle every day all day than listen to Howard's show and the crappy H101 shows(with the exception of Black on Black, Geektime, and Jackie's Joke Hunt).
