Why do we have to wait weeks at a time for each new episode of fucking Kitchen Nightmares? Why can't it air regularly like other shows?

i was wondering the same thing. my DVR recorded one and i got all excited until i saw it was from 2012

There's one scheduled for this Friday. My prediction? He'll get there, the food will be shitty, the décor will be dated, and there'll be a bunch of rotting meat and produce in storage. He'll fill the place with locals and they'll hate everything.

THEN! THEN, he'll stay up all night changing the look of the place and he'll create a simplified menu of better food. They'll have a successful relaunching and things will look much better for the restaurant's future. When he comes back to visit, everything they make will be AMAZING.
