"Son of the Beach"....Cult Classic?....or HUGE Piece of Shit?

I have to admit I still laugh everytime I hear the Stinkfinger theme song and I don't even know why....it must be funny.

But I never watched the show. Was it funny at all? Is it worth investing the time watching at all? Or was Stinkfinger the one and only bright spot?

I've never seen it replayed anywhere on TV and I can't even find it on the....ahem....file locker sites despite the fact that it's apparently been released on DVD (though didn't look real hard yet) so that makes me think it's a huge piece of caca because no one even bothers pirating it. I mean I can find obscure fucking pilot or canceled shit that never even aired in about 5 minutes online but SotB....it's a ghost....it's like Jack Reacher....can't fucking find it and not sure I want to and might be as equally gay.....

That's an episode with Gilbert if you want to check out the show.

Timothy Stack is a talented guy with a real career, but it's really just all throwaway jokes and easy puns, nothing memorable.

It was very basic, predictable humor..no where near the cleverness of Arrested Development or 30 Rock.

Shows how much you know - Howard invented both those shows but didn't copyright them "because he didn't need the hassle". Just like Unplugged and the Osbournes and Fifth Grader. And everything else on Earth.

I've tried - but could never get through more than 5 minutes of that crap.
Howard has always been really bad at TV -

It was a very obvious, hackneyed brand of funny, when it occasionally was. Its worst fault was that it was so corny.

To person who negged rep me for the above post.

    It's called sarcasm.

I'd hope any intelligent person would recognize that I wasn't being serious with such a ridiculous statement.

Profit, Firefly and Strangers with Candy are Cult Classics. Son Of The Beach was a steaming pile of shit that sucked 10 seconds into its first episode and went downhill from there.
