Turned on the radio at about 9:45 AM today. The Stern Show from 01/16 was replaying on H100 and they were just starting the interview with the Nerds. Since I'd already heard it I switched over to H101 and guess what was playing - the same show and the same interview with the Nerds, a couple of minutes ahead of H100. WTF???? That's not even the West Coast Feed, since it was only a few minutes apart and H101 was ahead of H100. How difficult is it to make sure you're not playing the same show at the same time on both channels?

Tim also seems to be using the Shuffle method of programming - you never know what you'll hear or when you'll hear it. Shows are constantly moving and disappearing with no prior notice and the only posted schedule (on the SiriusXM website) is never correct. I've been trying to catch a rerun of Jay Thomas all weekend but I haven't been able to find it at any of the various times it's been replayed in the past. Every time I turn on the radio it's been Chuck Zito, Dr. Harry Fisch, or Abe Kanan, all shows I hate.

It's stuff like this that surprises me. The lack of talent and quality I expect but scheduling varied weekly reruns and old shows from the tapes team can be done with a macro in Visual Basic or Microsoft Excel that can be written in 10 minutes. Just make sure that there are no live show scheduled, no simultaneous broadcasts and a tape show that hasn't been played in a while boom done.

The one guess I have is that any broadcast has to pass the Howard Stern PC Libtard Revision process and since Howard and Gary are only part time employees now the revision process is behind schedule.

I don't know what's more disturbing - the fact that Howard's entire operation is a major cluster-fuck or the fact that no one (including Howard) realizes how bad it is or has a plan to fix it. A few weeks ago a caller complained that he didn't like Jay Thomas on Fridays and Howard told him to switch to H101 and listen to "old stuff" instead, completely unaware that Jay is on H101 and it has very little "old stuff". I know Howard says he depends on Tim to handle the channels but it's clear to everyone that he's not up to the task. It doesn't take a budget to come up with a schedule and make sure you don't have the same show playing on both channels at the same time but Tim can't even handle that. A few meetings won't help, they need to clean to clean house - get rid of Tim and scrap the entire programming line-up and start from scratch. That's the only way to salvage this mess.

Marbles. Wiggy wants extra money to allow the subscribers listen to those shows. Not too mention there is more of a demand for those shows as opposed to THSS.

I don't understand why you guys sweat this stuff. It's perfectly clear that both channels have been, are, and will continue to be pure shit. They will not get any better. If there are any new shows that might be entertaining, it will be by chance, not by design, and they won't last. There is no reason whatsoever to believe that the Stern channels will ever improve. All evidence points to the contrary.
