See, I can buy some broads with daddy issues following this guy. There are loads of women in reality that write and want to marry dudes on death row. There are certainly men involved in cults but what are with all of the men on The Following in it for? A few of them were playing gay for years? It just lost me.

Nice to finally see Roderick. He's going to be a problem down the road. I wonder if Iceman will come back from near death a la Jack Bauer?

yeah, there's no evil women anywhere, and if there are, it's some man's fault

good point about the gay guys. they never really did a good job of establishing why either of them was so invested in the cult other than the one guy kind of having an interest in killing. the did establish why rodderick is in the cult though, so that's legit.

Agreed! Especially on your "gay" point. That was VERY "hit you over the head" with the metaphor.

I'm afraid it might have jumped the shark for me.

    Because

    and

    and

    and

But I did like the scene with the blonde cop. Bad ass.

It's still a good show, I just hope they get back to how it was.

i agreed about the big group in the house. that was really lame. a small cultish following i could understand, but they're kind of making the cult into a movement. and that's weak.

Well the basic concept in the beginning was that there are 300 serial killers in America active. What would happen if someone got them organized under one direction.

I think at this point at least one of them has to be one. The question is who?

I see a power struggle between Joe and Roderick at some point.

totally. you could see the dynamic beginning to change over the course of the last episode. rodderick's ego is going to push him to do something to undermine or over take joe. or at least that's what i'd guess, too. who knows though.

first episode was terrible. like really bad and terribly cliche.

second episode was considerably better. and i was hooked by episode three. it's a good show, but nowhere near a breaking bad or anything like that. if you have monday evenings open, it's worth committing to for a handful of weeks.

Cool, that's kinda what I thought it might be. I'll check it out on your recommendation.

Not too many shows rise to the level of a Breaking Bad or a Sopranos.
