Wheel bearing went out during my 35 mile trip home from work last night. 50 mph all the way home in the right lane in case the goddamn wheel came off. Grinding like a bastard. And me crossing my fingers and watching every mile marker in case I had to call a tow truck.

Probably a couple hundred bucks + a day's pay. Hell, if I had a garage, I'd do it myself. It's not hard.
But I'll be damned if I'm gonna do it in the snow.

The upside is, other than replacing batteries, this is the first time my truck has ever broken down. 140k miles.

How much snow u get up in Bumfuck? Nothing here in NJ yet but we may have a storm moving in on Friday..

Just a couple inches on the ground is all. They said it's gonna warm up a bit in a few days. Mid 40s. I'll welcome it.

Oil and wood pellets, but both require electricity which had gone out. We have a kerosene heater as a back up, but those fuckers always smell like hell.
