It's just more of the Emperor's New Clothes strategy that has shaped Howard's career. He says that he's KOAM, America's Judge, creating The Revolution, etc. and keeps repeating it until enough people start to believe it. Now he thinks he can convince the listeners (and John Malone) that he's working really hard and improving his show and channels when there's been ZERO evidence to suggest anything has actually changed - they're still just recycling the same lame guests and bits and the programming on H101 still sucks.

Howard's become like the old fart teacher. Most teachers work very hard and put in hours that no one sees. But then you get that one lazy fuck who after the first few years, he gets tenure and just starts recycling the same old course plan. Same tests get recycled over and over. He does no prep during the summer, which most teachers do do. He just shows up in class, and goes through the motions. Kind of like the old fucker in the movie Teachers, who ends up dying at his desk, and no one notices all day.

I had a guy in high school who taught English lit. He gave us the same test three times and didn't even notice. By the third time we were all looking around at each other laughing our asses off.

Over the past couple of months Hanzi became a regular caller on what is now "the artie lange show". Hanzi's basically the only Stern show caller who Artie has had on the air because he wanted to avoid recycling Stern's material hence: no wackpackers, particularly hi pitch eric.

Recently Artie and hanzi discussed flying hanzi in to sit in on the show as a guest.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a passive agressive move by Howard to lay claim to one of "his wackpackers". I just find it odd that after years and years of calling in that Howard decides to give hanzi a show the second he gets an offer to appear on Artie's show.
