Not necessarily. Access to foods high in nutritional value is an issue in many urban areas. Without transportation and a local grocer, how the fuck are people supposed to be able to shop for groceries? So, instead, they use their local corner store, whether it's a bodega or some other type of limited grocer, they're at the mercy of whatever's available in their neighborhood, including fast food and other cheap alternatives.

Combine that with a lack of knowledge about nutrition/health and you have the perfect storm.

It's no wonder why most Americans are overweight.

Yes, we're also a very lazy nation too, but even the most seasoned athletes in training will tell you that no matter how much they weight train, no matter how much cardio they do, it all goes back to what you put in your body (i.e., FOOD).

That's why I hate to see any of those shows, all the C.S.I. type shows included. They will have one white old veteran, a handsome white or Asian male model type, a token black guy that looks, speaks, and dresses like he just stepped out of a Rap video and is always smarter then everyone because he's from the hood. And then the drop dead gorgeous babes that are out to prove they are smarter and better cops then any man, and supply endless sexual tension with all the studs.

Then you watch shows like Cops or First 48 and see what REAL detectives look like! Mostly ex military that put in their years as street cops and then move up. They are all older looking coffee drinking polyester wearing men and women, and not a young male or female model anywhere!
