My guess it's cheaper for Wiggy to get round trip tickets from Toronto and put him in a cheap airport hotel than it is to put in a proper ISDN line and pay an on site audio tech guy.
Let's not forget the expensive of filming it for Howard TV when the studios at the channels are ready to go.
