Howard is an idiot re: Oprah/Lance

    Sorry, I'm a day behind:

But Howard criticized Oprah for getting all the relevant doping questions out of the way right away.

But it had already been reported in the New york Times that he confessed.

And why else would he do the interview? To say he was clean? Nooooo..

And do you think people who tuned in after searching long and hard to find the Oprah Winfrey Network were going to tune out after those yes or no questions?

No, they're going to stay for the meat of the interview, and the crying, which was also reported ahead of time.

Actually, a lot of reports praised Oprah for getting the relevant questions out of the way, so she could spend more time delving into the details.

    Howard is such an idiot.

Wiggo's style is different, He would've gone in immediately with the "How thick is your cock"? question.

Howard would have dove into the real question he's wanted to know about, how Lance's single ball feels between his fingers.

We all knew this would be a big week for Oprah-bashing since Howard is insanely jealous that all the really important people snub him and flock to her. Wiggy can't wait until the end of his interviews to ask the relevant questions, by then everyone has already turned off the radio or fallen asleep from boredom.

she didn't ask him if his dick lost any thickness from the doping. or if sheryl crow likes anal. as much as everyone steals from howard, they still haven't been able to cop his amazing interviewing abilities.

    Howard critiquing someone's interviewing skills.
That's as funny as Howard critiquing people's appearance.

Watched both parts. Most of it was stale. I'm not a fan of Lance nor the sport. I respect that he suddenly wipes off that grin and cockiness, but everyone expected him to do so. The biggest bummer was that he refused to talk about the EPO process and how they ran the whole scheme. He briefly talked about being a bully, but no intriguing stories or quotes came out of it. He seemed very tense and stuck to the script. Oprah went soft on him, but I suspect that Howard had derailed if he was in Oprah's seat. Howard would start comparing it to his own struggles and try to come off as better than Armstrong, like the last Dave Attell interview.

The only part that intrigued me was when he talked about his motivation for using the illegal substances. He didn't care about them being illegal, he only wanted to win. Nothing else mattered to him.

I am a big cycling fan and Lance hater. I thought she did an awesome job.

I would love to know what his lawyers gave him for guidelines before the interview.

Oprah did the right thing... It's not like Lance came in to purchase a vehicle and Oprah had to rise his buying temperature. He came in to confess and by doing that up front, his high levels of anxiety instantly drop and he becomes more relaxed which in turn give Oprah a better shot at getting him to emote the "why" behind truth.

Oprah did not do a good job. They agreed on nothing off limits...yet there were things he would not comment on. I really had no opinion of lance before but now think he is repulsive. He is only sorry he got caught. He sued people for telling the truth. I wish he had to give back the money he earned from sponsors in the past. Poor baby lost 75 million in a day...he's still a very rich man. He should have spent some of that on someone to coach him on how to act contrite
