Does anyone else watch Red Eye, and what do you think of Gutfeld's politics?

I really like that show a lot, and I agree with Gutfeld on most issues (don't watch The Five, he's horrible on that). Anyone who is a conservative leaning former Stern fan would probably enjoy it, I just thought I'd recommend it.

Red Eye has been on for about 5 years now, but because they do really edgy material, Fox News only airs it at 3:00 a.m. EST. The best moment of the show was when Greg Gutfeld caused an uproar by saying that he was opening a Gay Bar next to the ground zero mosque:

He's a typical biased cable news/talk radio pundit that you see all day long on Fox News and MSNBC

- They find ridiculous examples of the outskirts of the norm, then try to present them as the norm, this is how "the other side thinks"

- Endless strawman bullshit, "they actually believe that ______ (insert asinine outrageous comment which none of the people he is referring to actually believe it).

- Hypocrisy, selective outrage. When their side is guilty of the same type of shit, it is either excused, ignored, or marginalized.... when the other side does it... it's WWIII.

Bottom line, they are trying to earn an income, that's it. No different from a guy on the marquee in Vegas trying to sell tickets to his show. All these guys are in the business of telling their niche demographic want they want to hear - more ratings, more books, more $$ for them.

They're all full of shit, left and right, but I've noticed (without question) that right-wing audiences tend to fall for the bullshit much harder. They've made millionaires out of a long, long line of these people playing the "right wing media character".
