Howard is likely close to being a billionaire at this point. He spends almost nothing and rakes in close to nine figures a year. And has been raking in close to nine figures for the last few years. Other than the NYC apartment and Hamptons house he doesn't spend money on anything. He doesn't even spend money on projects like Porky's or Rock and Roll High School. You factor in Howard's money from his movie, books, and other projects, plus the huge amount of money he got from Sirius stocks, and he's pushing a billion. Pretty insane.

The real story with HS's money is in the real numbers of what some(..the SEC, the FBI and the IRS etc.) might call his "outside interests".
