She sent it to Howard...so if she was at the Xmas Party..why send his gift? I don't even think Robin was at the Xmas party.

So no "Robin spent $750 on a pen songs????" It comes with a little Atlas Statue that holds the pen ....oy vey

The most I ever spent on a pen (for a gift) was $45.00...a really nice Cross Pen in case....and I bet it wrote as good as a $750.00 one!!

It is not hard to spend $750 on a pen. However, like most things, you can either get something amazing (think vintage) or tired (think Montblanc, at least for me).

Four things I think it is acceptable for a man to spend big money on:
1. a nice pen.
2. a nice watch.
3. a nice suit.
4. tools.

I went searching, I couldn't come up with a $750 price tag and an atlas holder. Most pens in that range have the calligraphy tips which I couldn't imagine Howard using. I wonder if she matched the holder to the pen?
