Just took a look at this week's H101 schedule on the SiriusXM website (I don't know why I bother, it's always wrong) and there are several time periods where all they do is keep repeating the same group of shows over and over for hours. Example:
Wednesday 1/23
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Super Fan Roundtable
8:00 pm – 10:00 pm Dealin' Straight
10:00 pm – 11:00 pm Super Fan Roundtable
11:00 pm – Wednesday Midnight Stern Show Shuffle
Thursday 1/24
Wednesday Midnight – 2:00 am Stern Show Shuffle
2:00 am – 3:00 am Super Fan Roundtable
3:00 am – 5:00 am Dealin' Straight
5:00 am – 6:00 am Stern Show Shuffle
Wow, that meeting they had last Friday made a big difference. Tim really stepped up his game.
Here's another one:
Tuesday 1/29
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Stern Show Shuffle
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Jackie's Joke Hunt
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Stern Show Shuffle
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Riley Martin
8:00 pm – 9:00 pm Jackie's Joke Hunt
9:00 pm – 10:00 pm Stern Show Shuffle
10:00 pm – 11:00 pm Riley Martin
11:00 pm – Tuesday Midnight Stern Show Shuffle
Welcome to The Revolution.

It would be interesting to know how much the show budget is that Sirius provide. The rumours are about 20 millions.
Howard spends 99% on his show.
0.9% on Tim Sabean who is in charge over the rest 0.1%.
Tims salary is bigger then the channels budget combine!

"We plan our sucesses. Then we go out and execute the plan."
A gigantic-er putz there has never been.
If Howard was as smart as he thinks he is, he never would have hired Tim to program the channels. Howard always said he envisioned H101 more like a TV channel with a lot of different shows and hosts. It's nothing like the terrestrial radio stations Tim is used to and someone with TV expereience would have been a much better choice. If he really cared about the quality of the channels Howard would have replaced Tim by now, since he clearly has no idea what he's doing.
Like it's been said, Tim's not the problem. Steven Spielberg couldn't do anything with the $0 budget and the level of talent walking around those halls.
If Howard was smart he would have tried to live up to his promises of revolution so he would have a valuable commodity that would have gathered him a better contract this time around, legions of fans and no need to do AGT for notice. He was penny wise and pound foolish.
I stand corrected. Tim sucks as much as the rest of them. Even though I was giving him a pass on the quality of the shows he's definitely the culprit in the programming idiocy. Which is really idiotic because a little macro in Excel or Outlook could weed out any conflicts or recently played shows. Tim has no excuses unless somehow it's because of interference by Howard.
His contract with Howard must have been iron clad because he sucks at his job. He's less of a programming director and more of a revenue generator (in form of commercials). Did the same thing in Chicago and fucked radio up for good.
