You really have to be a pretty dedicated Artie fan to be enjoying this. Each show gets worse & it's not even worth wasting time on anymore (after just one week). Fatter, sleazier Joey Buttafuoco is in way over his head with this show and it shouldn't last much longer. Then again, the majority of the most popular shows in this country are unthinkably bad so who knows...

Seriously does the guy who is co-hosting with Artie ever say anything?? I can't believe they would hire someone to be on a talk radio show who never opens his mouth and doesn't have anything to contribute to the show. I dont know why but it actually angers me a little bit to watch the show and see this guy just sitting there, emotionless and silent. What is the point of having this guy on the show? There's sometimes entire segments where he never opens his mouth the whole time they're on the air. Its gotta be awkward for Artie and some of the crew to have this guy in there, as a replacement for Nick, and just sitting there like a fly on the wall. I dont get it! Anyone else feel this way?

lool took a while to get used to. looked like someone brought their kid in the studio.

+1 on being perplexed by the twins attire. you dont expect to see 2 attractive 25yos dressing like grandmas. especially when theyre on tv 5 nights a week

    edit agree 100% doobster.

More than that, he's mormon, not sure where you're from, but if you grew up in the west like me you know how much that is the root of any behavior by the devout mormon; throw in islander (samoan/tongan) matriarchal culture and you could very well have a guy running to hide that he's gay and a family willing to not look askance at such absurd behavior.

The beard behavior might very well play into it (I of course have no idea either way) but it's my opinion it's more of a personality disorder to seek the accolades and condolences even if it started off as a beard. There is some serious borderline or other behavior going on to perpetuate this story

I'd rather they drop the pretense of sports talk and go and get someone cutting his teeth to be a la John or KC and do some bits, get made fun of, talk shit, etc. Artie can take them in and out of break, and at 10pm on radio or 1pm (7 and 11 pacific) they don't need to really be talking sports, I can't imagine anyone gives a shit (and I'm sitting here drinking watching Federer and the last thing I want to hear is people discussing sports). They don't need a full fledged comic in the 2nd chair, but they certainly don't need a guy whose career is based on and will be based on sports. Cut the fucking format already.

You have to be a pretty dedicated Artie hater to think the show is that awful and that somehow there are less funny moments in it than their used to be. If you're going to keep listening, I encourage you to find some irony in the show, or at least be funny yourself in your posts

Get Bryan Jones' drunk, loud, obnoxious ass off the air. He's the annoying drunk guy at the bar who wont leave you the hell alone. Just because you yell and talk over everyone else, doesnt mean what you say is important or funny. That guy is so obnoxious!

Ha! I loved that guy - I think he used to do a 'zine. I know I've got a book by him here somewhere, and a couple of DVDs he introduces.

It would not only help Artie's show with the more known/famous actors/actresses that would come his show, but also help the network promote it's own shows.
Agreed, but its not the only thing these suits don't think to do. I thought the dub-reggae band and the other guests tonight were pretty decent, but I'd expect them to load the Friday show with a couple of names, since that seems to be the show w/ the most viewers.
I guess they just totally leave the guest-getting up to that schmoo-hundred-grand guy.

I gave you some, but I don't think it made any difference.

I've tried to give reps to a bunch of people lately, but always get a message that I've gotta wait longer.

    It'll be dangerous as fuck!
The health issues are a worry, but there could be a fuckin' earthquake too!

Mike wanted to train for it and Artie made fun of the idea. I'm sure there'll be some kinda injury.

Yeah, he kinda is, but it was really funny when he was on w/ Nick.

    He's Artie's training wheels.
Every now and then Artie gets tangled up in his words and needs to palm it off to the radio dude.
If he did speak more and get involved you might hate it more.
I'm sure that jabroni knows his role.

I just hope they keep going with different co-hosts and don't decide on a permanent guy straight away just for the sake of it.

I like Jones. Always a good guest imo. Sure he's loud and obnoxious, but he brings instant energy to the show. Doesn't take himself seriously and not worried about being politically correct. Nothing off limits with him

I think the bet should not be who is going to win, but who is going to run the whole race.
