I hated the entire "grunge/alternative" movement. A complete work by MTV to phase out hair metal.
Putting Nirvana on the air was one thing, because it was a different sound at the time, but following it up with bands that didn't deserve record contracts, let alone video play on MTV, was just part of their plan to bury the hair metal era, which had raked in billions for them at the time.
Man, how music of the last 20 years has sucked
