My guess is that 101's ratings were way down. Howard gets 60% of the ad revenue on his channels: low ratings = lower ad rates = less marbles for Howie = programming changes

I think he finally realized that most of his former fans got tired of his shit and moved on and hate him. It's over and he knows it. There is no recovery from this fail he has already exposed who he is.

There really isn't much new programming, they're just moving things around to make it look like they're doing something. Seems like an attempt to impress John Malone or to win fan support in preparation for a future contract battle with Sirius or a move to a new platform. Regardless, it's not going to work. The new shows suck and Howard's promises have zero credibility. Is it really that difficult to figure out how to improve the channels? Get some hosts and sidekicks who are FUNNY and PROFESSIONAL. Of course, that would require money and effort so it will never happen. They'll just keep delivering the same shit we've been getting for 7 years and claim it's a Revolution.

I remember with this contract negotiations when he was talking about SIM cards and that 3rd music channel thinking "who in the world believes any of this?". You're right, Howard has zero credibility.
