    Oh dude, I am fucking PISSED at my dealer. Wife's Mariner (still under warranty) has some intermit probs that I found TSB's on. Described her trouble exactly. I printed them out and dropped it off and gave the dude the TSB's. He was all cool and we were on the same page about the troubles. Fucker calls me 4 hours later and says "We can't confirm the trouble". I'm like "Do you know the definition of intermittent?" Dude says there's nothing he can do. So I get pissed and call Ford direct and get a Regional manager who is real nice and shit but tells me there is nothing she can do either. I went OFF on this bitch but she wouldn't budge. Finally, she offered an extended warranty. I asked if anything covered under the warranty would ever actually be repaired. She didn't get the joke. What the fuck should I do??? You have any contacts?

    I've been home with the flu but I can access FMC Dealer from anywhere and read up on it.

    I gotta look them back up. I just upgraded to Windows 8 and don't have my files restored. I'll find 'em soon. It's no rush anyway since I have an extended warranty now I just can't understand how they can flat out deny a repair even at the corporate level when it's documented in a FORD ISSUED TSB!

    We can usually work around it. Did you buy it there?

    Yup, even tried calling the salesman and he never got back to me. One TSB was against the tranny for intermit hard shift to reverse when cold and the other was for poor FM radio reception. 2010 Mariner with the 6 speed and V6. The radio problem is common and all over the net. Motherfuckers pissin me off talking about it again. The tranny just needs a flash.

    Tell them you want a loaner and they can keep it until they can duplicate the issue.

    Nah, I'd do the keep it until you can duplicate it thing. They HATE having loaners out that long and it's a pain in their ass to send a tech out every morning on a drive that he's making zero dollars on. I bet they'll duplicate it really quickly. I'd also skip the service writer and go right to the service manager.
