    Artie's 1st Show Decent, 2nd Show's 1st Hour Decent, 3rd Show Terrible

Disappointed they broke up N & A but watched Artie's first show and was surprised that it was decent. His second show's first hour was okay then quickly devolved into something totally unwatchable. The third show was absolutely horrible and it seems there are only so many funny stories Artie can recycle, only so many times you can tell Bocchetti to read a word he can't pronounce, and only so many bits involving the twins that can be done before the show gets very old very fast. The show will continue to decline because Artie needs a real comedian like Nick in order to stay funny and new. Their older shows were gold and now the show is like listening a loser habitually intoxicated uncle do the same routine for years that no one wants to hear again except for him.

You know, I understand the things you don't like about the show, but everyone needs to chill out and relax. We're three shows in. It can take a radio show months to find its legs after a shake up, and if you're liking 2/3 of the shows, that's not too bad considering almost every radio show going these days is bad 100% of the time. We don't even have a permanent co-host yet, and I think Artie is falling back on what he knows, which is goofing on Fellato and Bochetti, which I and a lot of listeners like. And that third show was basically Orlando Jones dependent; I followed MadTV and heard all the relevant details on Stern and in Too Fat to Fish, so I got everything they were talking about. Give the baby gorilla chance, man.

The 3rd show was terrible...I found it to be the best show of the week so far (minus the band).

I listened to a couple of hours of the first show and had a hard time getting into it. Maybe it was just because I was adjusting to the new dynamic and because the guy they had in there with Artie contributed nothing.

But I've really enjoyed the past few days. I don't know if the SI guy is the long term answer, but he has worked out well with Artie this week. And Artie is sounding more and more comfortable being in charge of the direction of the show.

Artie needs to take a breath or something. It's like he's on speed.

The round of ballbusting at the end of Thursday's show is the best thing I heard this week.

Wow. I watched all three of those. Add drunk Orson Welles and that's post of the month for sure.
