I've been thinking really hard about buying a gun recently. There's a shooting range a few miles from my apt. I just don't know if I trust myself owning a gun.

It happens to everyone dude. "Normal" people are able to brush it off as a silly stupid thought. However, if you suffer from OCD those thoughts can torment you and cause anxiety and panic. However, that does not mean you will hurt anyone. In fact a person with OCD is very unlikely to hurt anyone.

Now, if you fantasize about hurting others and it gives you a hardon that means you are psychotic and very dangerous.
