the cops in NJ were that way with me. once i showed a collector's interest in their guns they were happy to show it to me, etc. except for the times they were trying to date rape my sister, most of the cops there were pretty decent people.

and the one that tried date rape apparently tried it with some other guys' families also. when called to extricate him, his partner and the passengers of the car he hit. the ambulance made him wait in the car till they made a trip to the hospital with the other car and his partner. the fire was almost completely out by the time the ambulance in East Keansburg returned for him. there wasn't any fire when they left for the first run to the hospital or they would have called for a wet down before leaving.
