1st Official "THE ARTIE LANGE SHOW" Listening Thread 1/14/13

Who's chomping at the bit waiting to tune in tonight???? I for one cannot wait to hear what Artie has to say, even though it probably won't be much. I'm expecting, like someone else said, half explanation/half corporate phony B.S. like "he's pursuing some great opportunities elsewhere."

Can't wait to see who the new co-host is (if there is one at all) and how it's gonna go! GET READY Y'ALL!

Does anyone know a good radio station that the show airs on? I'm used to downloading the podcast, but I wanna hear the first segments live.

Who knows how it will be......

I really enjoyed the Nick AND Artie show. They had good chemistry - the whole NY vs Boston thing, their comedian stories, making fun of Falato, etc.
It just worked, even when they were fighting - it was good radio.
I can't see myself listening to a Baby Gorilla ONLY show.

See, I don't think they had good chemistry - Dipaollo was always rolling his eyes or getting pissy, Artie always wanting to go on a tangent and not talk about the texans indy game or the 3 run homer; I could give a flying shit about NYC and Boston, just don't care, Dipaollo's comedian stories are I worked a club and then went to my hotel, I nailed a waitress 25 years ago, Artie is the one with the stories, Artie's the one that ripped on Fellato in a funny way, Dipaollo would just bring up Obama for no reason and rip on him by proxy through Dannyboy.

And don't forget how nick ruined Artie's teaser bit.

one of the FUNNIEST things nick ever said (and it's partially the WAY he said it) was when they were first making fun of Dan for sending the "HEY B!" text to Brock.

Artie was like "yeah, like THAT's what he wants to do, hit the town with dan!" and nick goes "i'd rather spend the weekend with James Holmes." (it was right after the Aurora shooting). i always remember the way he said it just cause it made me GUFFAW.

i liked their chemistry a while ago. lately, MEH.

There's the show in a nutshell. Artie does something, Dip has to be involved, it is questioned why they are using Niece Jenna's made up lines and Dipaolo gets all pissy and defensive like a broad and shoe horns himself on the bit, thereby ruining it.
