Hawk kneed, great recommends. I love Mazzy Star, I just wish they had put out more than 2 albums and not done so much to sabotage themselves. The only band I couldn't get into back in the day was Velocity Girl, I always felt like I wasn't "indie" enough to listen to their music (I was a grunge kid through and through). It's funny though, I don't remember anybody using the term indie rock back in the 90's, but then I lived in the sticks so it could have been me. I just knew it was too upbeat for my Alice In Chains Wearing self.
EDIT: Apparently Mazzy Star put out more albums, I just never heard about them. Thank God for Amazon and autorip, I almost want to buy these albums on vinyl (apparently all three have been re-issued).Last edited by TelegramSam; 02-09-2013 at 07:22 PM.

Definitely agree with you on Hum! Great band! I Mother Earth was pretty overlooked.
