I agree with you, except that I think Kelly was serious about leaving. I live in southern Ohio, and he did the same thing at UC. He took them to an undefeated season, knew it was all downhill from there, and jumped ship to ND. There is no way they can beat an SEC team in a title game in the next ten years, this was the time to leave if he was going to do it. I'm glad he's still there, but I'd guess that the Eagles wouldn't give him what he wanted or Chip Kelly was their first choice.

The University immediately initiated an investigation to assist Manti and his family in discovering the motive for and nature of this hoax. While the proper authorities will continue to investigate this troubling matter, this appears to be, at a minimum, a sad and very cruel deception to entertain its perpetrators.
