These "animal rights" people are out there, man. They probably watch nature programs and get mad at hyenas for picking off the baby zebras and shit.

One of the things about Beth's "charity" work that always bugged me was the fact that she only promotes organizations who let her host events and plaster her photos all over their websites and literature. She claimed to have been involved with her local animal shelter while growing up but the only time she mentioned them by name was when she was featured in a Pittsburgh magazine. There are many other great nationwide and local shelters in the country (most of which give a much bigger share of their funds to the animals than NSAL) but she never mentions them or does anything to help them.
