I worry that Gary will bend Howard's ear and put a stop to any honesty that Jason is shelling out. This time will be like a Prague Spring, before Jason's insurrection is brutally put down by Howard.

Gary still, somehow, has a lot of influence with Howard. Look how he established a virtual moratorium on Ba Ba Booey ball busting after Artie left while Booey's kids were in jr high/high school.

Jason's not working for high 6 figures like Gary so Jason's a bargain and Howard knows it. That's why Jason has nothing to fear from Gary. Howard would never fire him (unless he did something crazy) for busting balls. Howard loves that shit as long as he's not the one at the receiving end.

Is Gary a "talent," with a contract like the rest of the Big Four (Howard, Robin, and Fred)? That would explain a lot, as Gary is a walking character (and can't function in the outside world as anything more than a total buffoon).

Also, during that conversation about JD and 401K's yesterday, JD let slip that he also has a contract and is not employed by SiriusXM. Is he a "talent" as well?

How great would an all out Booey vs Kaplan battle be. Booey vs DePace was always boring because like a woman Booey would get all upset and insulted and Depace would then back off. Scott would never get harsh or insulting and the rest of the crew specifically howard, robin, and fred would often take Gary's side.

Jason won't back down. he will take low blows, it will be great. Gary also won't be able to pull the "Scott's a republican card" which was always a sure fire way to get the studio ful of democrats to take his side.

Come on, you must have noticed how fucking lazy everyone on that show is? I'd say he does the job of 3 average THSS staffers. THSS is only 3 times a week and yet the creative staff works 5x a week and yet the show is WORSE THAN EVER! They're just all fucking lazy with some people who get shit done thrown in.
