The root of Jason's disrespect toward's Gary stems from

Not the first time Jason has brought the amount of hours worked into a conversation.

This was from March 5, 2012. Someone shit in the toilet, and it stunk. Howard was telling people to shit at home, or somewhere else.

I cut and pasted together two clips where Jason talks about hours.

The first part Jason says he's here 10-12 hours a day.
The second clip Jason reminds Howard that he's only here 4-5 hours a day.

Jason does everything from producing segments to updating the howardstern.com with all of the content to being on other shows. He is a repugnant asshole but the man works his ass off. He works way more than anyone else at that place. THSS is full of lazy clock punchers who don't give a shit about anything anymore and just go through the motions every day and do a bare minimum.

From my understanding, Will only produces segments. He does pre-interviews, writes notes, arranges for anything that a guest might need, feeds info to Howard etc. But he doesn't have any extra duties like Jason. Jason has said it many times that he meets with people high-up at Sirius and is responsible for the website and other shows. He even produces SFRT.

That Jason-Gary conversation is one of the most uncomfortable in the history of the show. There are so many elephants in the room that Gary is nearly suffocating.

You can also hear the fear in Gary's voice. Jason, the boy that learned at Gary's knee, is now threatening to burst the bubble and expose the show's humiliating innards to the light of day.

The suppression of reality in that studio is almost Orwellian. Gary's 3-day week is verboden in discussion? Really?
