I wouldn't doubt they would give Howard a star if he petitioned them for one. They will give them to anyone reasonably famous whose fan club agrees to pay for the installation and yearly upkeep of it. The reason Howard doesnt have one is simple. It would cost him some marbles. I have no trouble believing if they wanted to give the amaaaaazing one a star he would be all for it.

No, I was wondering why my thread was combined with this old thread.

My point is that

1) it's not 9 days old

2) A thread title with "Jimmy Kimmel" and "Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony" is more descriptive than "Jimmy knows better."

I wanted to start a thread about Kimmel getting his Walk of fame star, less than 24 hours after one of his greatest shows. But I guess people will miss it.

My comparison to SFN is that the mods there would, in the past year, just start combining threads with some relation.

For instance, they would put all the Kimmel threads in one thread even though there were different angles to each thread that would appeal to different audiences.

For instance, a Kimmel viewing thread appeals to different people (aka Kimmel viewers) than a thread with the title "Videos: Matt Damon hijacks Kimmel ...." (which would appeal to non-Kimmel fans who would never see these videos otherwise. And many found them hilarious).
