Chicago Bears fire Lovie and hire..............HAL???? (:huge facepalm:) (ALL HOMO)

This explains HAL's recent absence from the board. Bears hire a CFL coach. Srs, CFL

    Bears Hire Marc Trestman

The Chicago Bears ended their search for a new head coach early Wednesday morning when they made the decision to bring aboard Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman as the franchise's 14th head coach.
A noted quarterback guru, Trestman had been out of the NFL for eight years before his stint in the CFL that eventually led to his succeeding former head coach Lovie Smith, who was fired by the Chicago Bears on Dec. 31.
The Bears scheduled a news conference for 11 a.m. ET on Thursday. The Chicago Tribune reported the news Tuesday night.
Trestman, 57, recently signed an extension with the Alouettes that takes his deal through 2016, but it's likely he'll be allowed out of his CFL contract to join the Bears, according to a source.
Trestman is coming off an 11-7 season in the CFL. In five seasons with the Alouettes, Trestman led the team to three appearances in the Grey Cup, including consecutive championships in 2009 and 2010 in addition to being been named CFL coach of the year (2009).

    Impressive:

According to his official website, Trestman has also worked with Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden, Denver rookie Brock Osweiler, Tim Tebow of the New York Jets and Carolina's Jimmy Clausen.

means Fix My Lighthouse. Back in the 17th Century, lighthouse keepers were tthe butt of everyone's jokes. When a lighthouse keeper was made fun of, his retort would be "why dont you fix my lighthouse!" which was shortened over time to FML. This term was made famous in the great battle of the Sole Bay in 1902 where 14 peolpe died and 1 person broke their glasses.
"if you are going to take the piss out of me then why don't you FML!

They tried to hire Trestmen once before (pre Angelo) during Emery's first tenure with the team and he snubbed them. He's supposed to be very creative on the offensive side of the ball.
