I will, I had my call planned out too. I don't mind sitting on hold for a GOOD show, though, and I've already enjoyed the past two nights more than anything they'd done since going to DirecTV with Rick.

I really love Artie being able to talk and joke freely. It's super nice to hear him able to talk about whatever he wants with minimal interruption or judgement. His self directed jokes about being a heroin addict and getting arrested in paris etc have been really interesting tonight as well. But generally I've been laughing a lot and enjoying Artie just being himself.

Don't worry it takes time.

Rod, Hanzi, and Arm get through because they've proven they're good callers. You get through once or twice and don't fuck up and you'll be a regular in no time. But more than once a week is really stalkerish. Mondays and Wednesdays are the best days to try.

And the Friedlander thing was probably a last minute thing--I also find him incredibly unfunny, and have tuned out every time they've had him on, past the first visit. I guess he'll be the "Joan Rivers" of the Artie Show.
