Can someone clarify exactly what happened with the Shuffle? Did most of the tapes team get laid off? And couldn't Howie cough up enough marbles for Reilly and Jackie to each do a two hour show, I'm sure they'd be up for it.

According to Tim S. the stations are STILL a working progress,even tho they've been there since 2006.

Bubba sounds confident that it might happen. Says he's been talking with Tim recently and said on his own version of a fan roundtable there's multiple options on the table, one is "bringing the IO family" with him. Which to me, means either other shows on his channel getting on 101 or perhaps a channel will be dedicated to a Bubba One simulcast.

Of course none of that means anything is a done deal.

I haven't listened to 101 in a long time but I'm not shocked to see things sink to this level post-Ferrall.

I think it might be more of a function that the "25,000 hours of tapes" only had maybe 5-10% of that which were usable Between "Specials"/Shuffle they have been played to death.

I think this is one of the reasons around July 2012 the KOAWigs started to put some effort back into THSS. He doesn't translate well to TV and won't be back after this last season of AGT, and there is no way he can package the tapes into a viable product for SiriusXM if he is off the air completely...

See, I agree with you to a point, but if you just take every show from maybe 1990 - 2003 and air them in order as Mastertape Theatre, I (and I think a lot of people) would listen. Just look at the amount of tape right there, that just requires editing out commercials. I think the truth is that Howard only has 5-10% of the tapes that don't contradict his new version of history or embarass him for not being PC.

I think all 7pm shows will now be at 5 and repeated at 8. So they can say 5 east and west when it repeats. Started yesterday with Lieberman at 5

I usually finish work around 7 so for years I've been listening to Jackie on the drive home every Tuesday. Today I tune in and there's Riley Martin... who is not nearly as entertaining when he's not loaded. Howard 101 is a diasaster. Superfan (fuck you Mutt) Rountable, Intern Show, Abe Kanan... ugh. And to think they were planning for a THIRD channel...

I'm gonna tell you, Howard believes this is how it's done. He's that insanely pompous. He thinks he's done great on AGT last season, his photography is impeccable, and he gets laid more than anyone.
